Dear
Russian
GSE Team Members
and Leader!
I wish you heartily welcome to the Swedish part of our District
2350 with its 69 Rotary Clubs spaning Central and Northern Stockholm,
Uppsala and the Uppland region.
The Group Study Exchange has always been an important and highly valued
part of our district activities. Giving young professionals the opportunity
to visit each others´ countries is one of the best ways to exchange
and spread knowledge. As future leaders of their societies the GSE
team members are also contributing to Rotary´s object to promote
peace and understanding in the world.

The
Group Study Exchange (GSE) programme

The Group Study Exchange (GSE) program of The Rotary Foundation
is a unique exchange opportunity for young business and professional
men and women between the ages of 25 and 40 and in the early years
of their professional lives.
The program is designed to develop professional and leadership skills,
but also to promote international understanding of another nations
culture, politics, commerce, government and daily life.
Two Rotary Districts in different parts of the world, agree to exchange
teams for a period of four to six weeks. Each team consists of four
professional or business people, non-Rotarians. An experienced Rotarian
is the fifth member and the leader of the team.
The GSE Team also assumes the important roll of goodwill ambassadors
during its stay in the hosting country, and are expected to
use the opportunity to create an increased awareness and interest
in the Country they represent.
